Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that my laptop was wigged out after travelling to and from Quebec (must have been the border crossing).

Called up Alienware Support and they narrowed it down to an overheating video card.

Those guys are good. I took out the card, cleaned off the fan and heat sink, then reseated the card. It works great now. Have some gel on the way to rub between the chip and heat sink so it conducts heat better.

Stopped by the Remix Hotel in Chicago this afternoon. Not much going on there. Sprinkled a few cards around.

Stopped by the Virgin Store afterwards. They had a $10 sale on CDs that I didn't want, so I sprinkled some cards there too.

At least I fixed my laptop so I can start prepping for the 9/9 Indy show. Still need to reload Arkaos and get my video back in order, however.
