Transistorized Veneration, now published by Raw42, is available for download and listen here.

Here's how Raw42 describes the song:
Cool sub bass tones combine with hip hop breaks, vocal snippets and scratches. A lonely synth pad generates a sad and sinister feel for this track.

Enjoy!

I have been remiss...in blog posting, in song creation, in radio show creation, in CD distribution and in record company and radio station solicitation!

Between work, vacation and family, I have found innumberable excuses not to work on my music.

That is ending. No, I'm not quiting my job or cutting myself off from my family. I am simply returning from vacation.

And, my new CD is here, so I am sending it off to CD Baby and will then get it out to The Orchard. Once it's up online, I will be getting it out to all the stations that have played my music before.

Sounds like a good short term plan.

The CD art and music for upcoming CD is at Discmakers.

The pending release will be called "The Truth In Everything Rejected", which is a line from a dada poem or a Burroughs' novel - although I don't remember which, I lean towards the Burroughs' novel angle.

I've seen and made corrections to the art and sent off corrections to the CD. I'm now waiting for the techs there to make the changes and get another proof out to me.

Anyday now the CD will be released...

Again, it's been a long time without a post. Work has been taking up most of my time. Actually, work always takes up most of my time, but I guess now it is just taking up more time than usual.

At least I have my wireless connection working. It all comes down to my crap network card being incompatible with XP, even though when I purchased it the box said it was compatible and if you go to the manufacturer's web site they have XP drivers for the card.

But...I purchased a new card last night and I'm and running.

Have been very busy and distracted these last few days. I have songs that are half completed that I can't find the desire, energy or focus to complete.

Did send off a "mailing of one" to a radio station for airplay this week.

Hmmm...Moby is sounding Libertarian. Take a look at his 1/4/4 post:

so i have this fantasy...
i have this fantasy that politics in america will somehow become more pragmatic and more moderate.
i have this hope that future politicians will be fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
and i have this strange belief that most americans are fiscally conservative and socially liberal and will thus respond to candidates who practice fiscal conservativism and social tolerance.
and i have this strange inkling that the republicans will alienate people with their social conservativism(reactionary southern baptist atavism, etc), and that the democrats will only succeed by learning fiscal conservativism and responsibility.
at the end of the day i do believe that most people don't really want the government taking a hefty percentage of their income in taxes, nor do they want the government intruding into peoples personal(aka bedroom and creative and religious expression)lives.
and i also believe that all americans are environmentalists, and i think that both parties should share the same pro-environmentalist platform.
there, that's what i think.
-moby

I was song #6 on Lord Litter's German Radio Marabu Happy (???) New Year Show.

Radio Marabu is played on AM/FM/shortwave/satellite/worldspace/online. Nice!

Here's what the PR machine says about Lord Litter:

"Lord Litter ... has earned the reputation for producing and delivering what is arguably one of the world's best independent music programs ... an elegant demonstration of critical mass. Since the late 1980s, Litter has known the pulse of independent music, and today, indie musicians from all over the planet know that his program is one of the ultimate destinations for their music.

They make the music, he plays it, and we get to listen to some of the most original, freshest new tunes available anywhere ... we hear the unusual, the intelligent, the amazing...

The absolute evidence that there is far more talent and creativity out there than the major labels in the world would want you to know about." (Indieport.com info, USA)

I need the contract to use your music, since TheMix is only going to pay you in publicity, not in royalties.
